Comtek Announces the Completion of the Class 100 (ISO 5) Cleanroom
Comtek Computer Systems, Inc., one of the world’s leading 3rd party technical services and supply chain provider, recently announces the completion of a Class 100 (ISO 5) cleanroom in November 2007.

Comtek’s core competency and expertise is in providing high-quality, fast, and cost-effective technical and supply chain services for OEMs, primarily on their high-end and mid-range hardware equipment. This new cleanroom capability further expands Comtek’s position and commitment as a leader in the high complexity and high value arena.
The cleanroom is now fully operational and currently spans 1,400 square feet. It will continue to undergo planned stages of expansion, eventually surpassing 2,600 square feet in April 2008. Comtek plans to utilize the cleanroom to perform repairs, build/assembly, screening and packaging services on photographic, optical/mechanical, and semiconductor equipment. The cleanroom will also enable Comtek to provide services dealing with storage and LCD technologies.
A cleanroom is an environment, typically used in manufacturing or scientific research that has a low level of environmental pollutants such as dust, airborne microbes, aerosol particles and chemical vapors. The temperature and humidity is controlled to protect sensitive equipment from contamination. Comtek’s cleanroom will be used on semiconductor and other equipment/components which are sensitive to environmental contamination.
